Nyala

10 February 2010
Back to the animals. I did not watch the cams for long as I was busy with sorting my sounds files, sounds I captured on the cams. The best on the cams today for me was the nyala.

Tourist view?

How did he manage to hang there like that?

All pics today were taken at Elephant Plains.

Hippo, 7 February 2010

Early morning started with a hippo grazing at EP. Hippos are not often seen in daylight on the cams, so this was a rare sighting and I captured the pics from a video by Sassabuck which can be seen at

Buffalo, 6 February 2010

And then there was a buffalo!

Elephants, 6 February 2010

The cam panned from the Waterbuck newborn to a herd of ellies.

This looks like elephant heaven, walking knee-deep in food.
